He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Owen and Pauline Smith (Corbin); his siblings, Ronald Smith and Paula Lanning; his brother-in-law Bill Lanning; his brother Ron; his sister-in-law Carol Smith; his niece Rhonda; his mother-in-law Ruth Watts; and his brother-in-law Tom Watts.
He is survived by: his daughter Steffanie Comer (Denny) of Clearwater, KS.; his stepchildren, Kenny Tyler (Miranda) of Derby, KS., Billy Tyler (Paxton) of Howard, KS and Heather Houchin (Ben) of Howard, KS.; his grandchildren, Daylen, Kenzie, Alivia, Axten, Atlas, Kayla, Keaton, Kynlee, Cora, Beau, Mae, Avery and Marilyn Kay; and his nieces and nephews, Lonnie (Ruth), Kyle (Tabitha), Melissa, Brandi, Hope, Paula, Owen, Laynee, Haden, Kevin, Michele, Tiffany, Zach, Aiden, Cody and Danielle (Jon).
