With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Sue Mitchell (Howard, Kansas), born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Amelia (Atwell) and Robert Kingsley Royer. She is survived by : her children, Mitchell of Elk Falls, Monica (Paul Werp) of Milan, Greg and Mandi (Curt Rierson) of Wichita; her grandchildren, William (Golda) of Goldendale, WA, Hayden of Milan, Myles of Wichita, Blair (Louis Guerlet) of Malmo, Paris, France, Brooke of Washington, DC and Wren of Wichita; and her pets, Poppy and Chester of Moline. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, her chosen sisters, adopted daughters, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, make a donation in Sue's name to the Chautauqua County Animal Shelter in Sedan, KS or a food bank of your choice.
