It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Gene Shelley of Howard, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Merle Shelley and Voney Shelley (Denison); and his sister Debbie Macy. He is survived by : his wife Jan; his children, Alice Kalene Brown (Eugene), Samuel Martin Redden (Doyce), Tonya Pree Shelley, James Chance Taylor III (Stephanie) and Tammy Lynn Boettjer (Steven); his grandchildren, Rochelle Messick, Travis Redden, Joey Redden, Jessica Hicks, Jolene Smith, Heather Knight, Bryce Hyde, Britani Wilson, Haleigh Fryman, Brandy Venskus, Brittany Brown and Derrick Brown; and his sister Cheryl Berry.

Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Michael to the American Cancer Society and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
