With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Nicholas Kaus (Hoxie, Kansas), who passed away on July 21, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Kaus and Mary Kaus (Kamphaus); his sisters, Melvina Carssow and Elanor Schiltz; and his daughter-in-law JoLinn Kaus.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Joyce Ramsey; his children, John Kaus of Manhattan, KS, Margaret Corby (Eric) of Salina, KS, Juanita Erickson (Kenny) of Neodesha, KS, Marvin Kaus (Kerri) of Seguin, KS and Nick Kaus of Selden, KS; and his sisters, Eileen Neff of North Platte, NE, Joan Schwarz of Colby, KS and Kathleen Zerr of Colby, KS. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren and five Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorials to Sheridan County Benefit Walk or St. Martin Catholic Church and may be sent in care of Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, PO Box 987, Hoxie, Kansas 67740.
