It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Ray Cantrell of Hugoton, Kansas, born in Stotts City, Missouri, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Hildred and Lola Bernadine Cantrell (Jackson); his wife Vinetta; his daughter Shelley; his granddaughter Railey; and his siblings, Charles and Glenda Cox.
He is survived by : his children, Don Cantrell (Angela) of Hugoton, KS., Sheila Demoret (Bruce) of Dodge City, KS. and Brenda Young (Shawn Wilson) of Enid, OK.; his siblings, JC Cantrell (Gina) of Hugoton, KS., Jim Cantrell (Sali) of Sealy, TX. and Sheryn Garverick of Hugoton, KS.; his grandchildren, Natalie Hogie (Clayton), Cory Demoret (Tynisha), Brett Demoret, Blake Demoret (Angel), Caitlin Peters (Nicholas), Taylor Reynolds (Stevie) and Tanner Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Erynn Cantrell, Jessie, Kody, Raigynn Hogie, Karrodi Major, Alice Riley, Alivia Willis, Avery Demoret, Teagan Peters, Abrah, Nova, Knox Reynolds and Paitynn Reynolds. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
