He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Beth and Mary Beth; and his brother Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Barb Horst; his daughters, Stephanie Heger (Chris), Susan Morris and Sara Beth Tasset (Phil); his grandchildren, Christian, Kathryn, Gavin, Griffin Heger, Alec Mikolajczak, Savannah and Paul Tasset; and his sisters, Jana Morris and Elinor Findley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (920 E 11th St, Hugoton, KS 67951). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hugoton Methodist Church (828 S Main St, Hugoton, KS 67951).
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities, Kansas 4-H and Kansas Methodist Foundation in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 920 E. 11th St., Hugoton, KS 67951.
