It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Rees of Humboldt, Kansas, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dixie Rees to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion E. Clark and Belle Z. Clark (Grubbs); her siblings, Reva McCully, Doyal, Paul, Mose and Jay; and her nieces, Maribelle Towslee and Hazel Wadel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Butts (Chris) and Betty Vandiviere-Valley (Mike); her grandsons, Tyler Butts (Mary) and Bryan Vandiviere (Angie); her great grandchildren, Hallie Grace Butts, Daylan (Maddie), Zachary Vandiviere, Kayln, Adalyn Lawson and Gavin Kendrick; and her sibling's children, Monabeth Milliron (Doug) and JD Wadel (Amy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service - Iola (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM.
Memorials are suggested to Humboldt Volunteer Fire Department, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas 66749.
