He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Eckert and Laberta Eckert (Cook); his wife Vivian Kay Shank; and his brother Roger Eckert (Judy). He is survived by: his son John C. Eckert (Dana) of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Kristen Yoder (Patrick) of Hutchinson and Kelsey Eckert of Akron, OH; his daughter Amy Orrison (John) of Hutchinson; his granddaughter Brittany Obrecht (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Bryson of Buhler, Jaxson of Buhler and Rhilynn Obrecht of Buhler; his grandchild Taylor Orrison; his great grandchild Jossilyn Nulik of Hutchinson; his grandchild Ashlee Orrison (Kadin Pennington) of Buhler; and his sister Patricia Wray (Kenneth) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
