He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Emmett and Sarah Ann Ackley (Whitehead). He is survived by: his wife Helen Sharpe; his children, Bryan Ackley (Miranda) and Annell Ackley; his sisters, Ruth Ann Kirby and Irma Elliott; and his grandchildren, Nathan Ackley and Avalyn Ackley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
