She was predeceased by: her parents, Chen Zaiseng and Chen Xiezi; and her husband Ping Hui. She is survived by: her children, Susan Ko, Joseph Ko, Chia-Lu Ko, Shuling Ko and Shugin Ko. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

“I am sorry to read of the passing of Chen Mei. I wish I could have spoken her language to know her better but she was always funny. She and Ping Hui were great people. I am so glad they came to the USA from Taiwan and they leave behind a wonderful family.”
