With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chris L Mayes of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on March 11, 2026 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Mayes and Emmagene Mayes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mayes; his children, Crystal Pulliam (Gary) of Hutchinson and William "Willie" Mayes (Sheridan) of Lenexa; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Higgins (Bryar), Breanna Milbrandt (Joey), Kaylee Mayes (Julian King), Curtis Mayes and Mercy Stauffer; and his sisters, Debrah Brown of Hutchinson and Elizabeth "Beth" Andsager of Nickerson. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
