He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Saffle and Frances L. Saffle (Staggers); his wife Nancy Joan Schroeder; and his siblings, Gary Saffle, Sarah Huss and Patricia Mans.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Cook (John) of Semmes, AL and Rick Saffle of Davenport, IA; his grandchildren, Angela Hinds (James) of Yukon, OK and John Paul Cook of Spanish Fort, AL; his great grandchildren, Sara Stancil (Garrett) of Yukon, OK, Christian Hinds (Leah) of Arvada, CO, Grace Fannin of Tuscaloosa, AL and Scott Hinds of Yukon, OK; and his brothers, Steve Saffle (Pam) of Augusta and Darrell Saffle of Apple Valley, MN.
