He is survived by: his wife Wendy Drake; his sister Yvonne Hamby (Troy); his nephew Jason Hamby (Megan); his stepchildren, Briana Barkley (Brian), Dallas Stephens (Amber), Blade Mattox (Kiara) and Deyton Mattox; his grandchildren, Adondre Oneal, Caselon Baird, Braxton, Ella, Emmett Stephens and Roman Mattox; his nieces and nephews, Maddison, Mason, Jaxson and Jannason Hamby; his great-niece Addalea Grace; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Barkley (Linda), Robert Barkley, John Barkley (Connie), Craig Barkley (Mary) and David Barkley (Teresa).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Silver Dollar (1000 W Nickerson Blvd, Nickerson, KS 67561).
