He is survived by: his parents, Rosa Sotelo Mayorga of Hutchinson, KS and Antonio Castañeda of El Paso, TX; his son Alex Aztlan of Phoenix, AZ; his brothers, Angel Sotelo of Torreon, Daniel Castañeda of Hutchinson, KS, Omar Castañeda of Hutchinson, KS, Gabriel Castañeda of Hutchinson, KS and Martin Castañeda of Hutchinson, KS; and his grandparents, Rosalio Sotelo of Torreon and Gloria Castañeda of El Paso, TX.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
