He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Knoche and Bessie Knoche (Evans); his former wife Betty Knoche; and his brother Darwin Knoche. He is survived by: his wife Pam (Smith); his son Stephen Knoche (Kimberly) of Davenport, Iowa; his granddaughter Elizabeth Hardesty (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Levi and Olivia of Des Moines, Iowa; his stepgrandsons, Isaac Trapkus (Suzy Kim), Paul Trapkus (Ruth), Jonah and Lyra; his stepson Jeff Miller (Lynette) of Hutchinson; his stepgranddaughters, Paige Marks (Kevin) and Morgan Miller; his brother-in-law Mike Smith (Carolyn) of White Rock; Evie, Piper and Theo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the New Covenant Presbyterian Church (700 E 25th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Covenant Presbyterian Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
