It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances L Matthews of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mohs and Nannie Mohs (McCowan); her husband Donald Matthews; and her siblings, Bill Mohs, Junior Mohs and Evelyn Mohs Corbett.

She is survived by: her children, Don Matthews Jr. (Marilyn) and Debbie Ridpath (Bob); her grandchildren, Scott Matthews and Sara Probst (Mike); and her great grandchild Eli Probst.
