He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett "Bud" Chan and Leona Viola Smith (Plautz); and his sister Shirley Seyfert. He is survived by : his wife Betty Smith of Hutchinson; his children, Robert Smith of Wichita and Bambi Stewart (Cory) of Hutchinson; and his grandchildren, Brody Smith of McPherson, Kylee Smith of Hutchinson, Gwen Stewart of Hutchinson and Cal Stewart of Hutchinson.
