She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Ireland and Esther Ireland (Williams); her husband Paul T. Wenta; and her daughter Paula Kay Dewey. She is survived by: her son Alan of Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Rustin Lafferty (Michelle), Rebecca Reid (David), Naomi Dean (Benjamin), Miriam Gogadi (Mashalla), Hannah Aguilar (Hernan) and Sarah McCarty; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan, Nathaniel Dean, Joseph, Annaleise, Josiah Gogadi, Katelyn Unruh, Achilles, Alexander Aguilar, Graham and Marshall McCarty; and her great great grandchild Kobe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary (212 S Fowler St, Meade, KS 67864). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fowler Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Crossroads Christian Church (4310 N Monroe St, Hutchinson, KS 67522).
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome monetary memorials made to the Crossroads Benevolence Fund (Crossroads Christian Church, 4310 N. Monroe St, Hutchinson, KS 67522 (620-663-9597) in care of the funeral home.
