He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert A. Allender and Ida Allender (Reichman); his stepmother Belinda Allender (Stone); and his sister Evelyn Allender Jones. He is survived by: his wife Etta Jean Allender (Wallace); his son Kendall (Pam); his grandchildren, Erika Ewing (Harley) of Hutchinson, Erin Bernard (Jonathan) of Overland Park and Kendall "Zane" Allender of Prairie Village; and his great grandchildren, Harley, Theodore, Aspen Ewing, Olivia and Beau Bernard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (704 N Jefferson St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House of Hutchinson, First Baptist Church in Hutchinson or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
