Jeane Schmidt Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 19, 2022, at the age of 87, Jeane Schmidt in Hutchinson, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Kopsky and Velma Kopsky (Hoofer); her stepfather Leo Helfrich; her son Mark; her grandson Logan; and her siblings, Vern Kopsky, Virgil Kopsky, Velma Atkinson and Vera Mae Peach.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Schmidt (Marge), Anita Brown (Doug), Luke Schmidt (Angie), John Schmidt and Paul Schmidt (Lisa); her sister Margaret Pechanec; and her brothers-in-law, Stephen Pechanec, John Schmidt, Jim Schaller and Orlando Peach. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church in care of the funeral home.
