He is survived by: his parents, Jake Koontz and Bobbie Koontz (Rudicel) of Hutchinson, KS; his sister Denny Koontz (John Hormell) of Fayetteville, AR; his aunts, Kemba DeGroot (Bob) of Cary, NC and Nita Sherrill (Larry) of Valley Center, KS; and his cousins, Angie Miller and Lori Sherrill of Valley Center, KS..
