It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerold L Poe of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jerold is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jerold's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Poe and Martha Poe (Murphy). He is survived by: his wife Susie Poe; his children, Amanda Baughman (Scott), Kara Poe (Wendy Byer), John Poe (Carolyn) and Richard Poe (Pam); and his siblings, Ruth Hull (Walt), Bud Poe (Carmen) and Anita Poe. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Dillon Nature Center (3002 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Reno County or St. Jude Children's Hospital, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St. Hutchinson, KS 67501.
