We bid farewell to Joan E Decker of Hutchinson, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo John and Leona Marie Werner (Hirsch); her children, Terry Decker, Tom Decker and Vicki Vogt; and her brother Wayne Werner.
She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Decker of Hutchinson, Lisa Considine of Hutchinson, Tim Decker of Hutchinson, Ted Decker of Hutchinson, Toby Decker of Hutchinson and Tracy Urish (Rod) of Lawerence. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hilltop Cemetery (1708 4th Rd, Raymond, KS 67561).
