He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irma Brock and Creel Brock; his sister Cora Lee Hornbaker; his nephew Steven Hornbaker; his grandson Naveed Heidari; his wife Sandra Brock of Hutchinson, KS; and his children, John Carl Brock (Denise) of Kitty Hawk, NC, Keith Brock of Oklahoma City, OK, Todd Brock (Tanya) of Johnstown, CO and Beth Heidari (Shawn) of Hutchinson, KS. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations/memorials can be made in John's name to Silver Maple Camp through the Minnis Chapel in Stafford, KS.
