John James Yoder (Hutchinson, Kansas) passed away on October 11, 2026. John James, born on October 15, 1942, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Yoder and Anna Yoder (Jones); and his siblings, Miriam Yoder and Merle Yoder. He is survived by: his wife Irene Yoder of South Hutchinson; his children, Randy Yoder of Burrton and Tami Caffrey (Paul) of Mount Hope; and his grandchildren, Linsey Sheets (Shane), Jonathan Yoder (Cheyenne), Madison Schadler (Ryan), Laramie Heinz (Caleb) and Jaron Caffrey (Elizabeth). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and five sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Partridge Cemetery (8304 S Partridge Rd, Partridge, KS 67566). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Journey Mennonite Church (808 S Poplar St, South Hutchinson, KS 67505).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mennonite Friendship Communities, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
