He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera G. Oursler (Joseph W. Burke) and H. E. Moore; and his brother Eddie. He is survived by: his daughters, Marjorie Norton (Kelley Friend) of Salina and Debbie Temple (Brad) of Salina; his stepsons, John Shaffett (Tammy) of Abilene, Chris Weishaar of Hutchinson, Ken Weishaar (Sherry) of Edmond, Toby Weishaar (Julie) of Abilene and Paul Weishaar (Amanda) of Fitchburg, Massachusetts; and his sister-in-law Debbie Moore of Land O' Lakes, Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church (1201 E 23rd Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Southern Baptist Church or TECH Inc., in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
