Judy C. Schafer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy C. Schafer of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on February 3, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Love (Ellis) and Dr. Joseph LeRoy Love; and her granddaughter Natasha Hashman. She is survived by: her husband Kenny; her children, Tracy Silvers of Denver, Gina Wilson (Jeremy) of Broomfield, Colorado and Joe Schafer (Becca) of Durango, Colorado; her brother Dr. Joseph Love, Jr. (Laurie) of Champaign, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Saffron Silvers, Sage Silvers, Madeline Wilson, Jack Wilson, Liat Schafer and Sadie Schafer. She is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
Memorial donations may be made payable to the McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) and will be used to expand the fencing and play area for the shelter dogs at the McPherson Animal Shelter, in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, Kansas 67460.
