It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen A Chastain of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis Edwin and Catherine Esther Sullivan (Grant); her parents-in-law, Albert and Jennie; and her siblings-in-law, Albert and Mary Chastain.

She is survived by: her husband Reverend John Chastain of Hutchinson; her children, Craig Chastain (Amy), Nikole Cohen (Dale), Catherine Diggs (Jeffrey) and David Chastain (Kellie); her grandchildren, Ryan Yanez (Stephanie), Tiffany Hall (Daniel), Bransyn Felty (Karissa Severud), Benjamin Yanez, Thomas Diggs (Kaylie), Braxtyn Felty, Alaina Boone (Tyler), Lillia Diggs (Kyle Stenzel) and Bentyn Chastain (Sarah Guerrero); her great grandchildren, Chloe, Evelyn, Alexandria and Merryk; her brother Edwin Sullivan (Debbie); and her niece Lisa Thayer (David).
