He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dan and Mildred Hazel Winters (Thacker); his wife Janet Sue Hammond; his son-in-law Roger Underwood; his siblings, Joy, Karren, Bud, Guy, Alvin and Gary; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Jones, Donald Hammond and Janice Winters.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Underwood of Esbon, KS, Larry Winters (Terri) of Spring Hill, KS and Mike Winters (Jamie) of McKinney, TX; his brothers, Joe Winters (Karleen) of Glenpool, OK and Donald Winters (Donita) of Mountain View, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Jeannie Winters of Elk City, OK and Jerry Hammond (Rita) of Medicine Lodge, KS. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
