He is survived by: his children, Tabetha McVey of Otis, KS, Michelle McVey of Lucas, KS, Larry McVey Jr. of Kansas, Alyssa Sehl (Michael) and Ethan; and his siblings, Richard McVey Hutchinson and Teresa McVey Wichita. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
