It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lynette Ann Markel in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Lubbers and Phyllis Lubbers (Geubelle); her husband Daryl Markel; her children, Tony Markel (Julie) and Andrea Hastings (Cody); her sisters, Lesa Maus (Perry) and Lavina Telford (Shawn); and her grandchildren, Kenna, Kimber Markel, Eli, Ezra and Eliana Hastings.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Rose Catholic Church (4813 NE 150 Ave, Cheney, KS 67025). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 30th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the St. Rose Building Fund and mailed to Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman KS 67068.
