Peggy Gough wrote a sympathy message

“Marilyn and I were friends, in the same class at GBHS. I was deeply saddened to learn of her passing. I will always remember her kindness, sense of humor, and generosity. I couldn’t have had a better friend. I send my love and sympathy to her family and friends. Peggy Gough, Austin, TX (A donation is being made in Marilyn’s memory to HorseLink, a non-profit organization that provides sanctuary and renewed purpose to retired competition horses.)”
