She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Francis "Louie" and Elizabeth Agnes "Betty" Gerritzen (Ackermann); her sisters, Sharlene Reichard (Art), Joanne Hamm (Leon) and Carol Davis (Floyd); and her brother-in-law Donald Weseloh.
She is survived by: her sister Janet Weseloh of Sylvan Grove; her close friend Steve Behrendt of Hutchinson; her former husband Jerry Post of Hutchinson; and her pet Sandy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
