He is survived by: his father Max Kottwitz; his wife Julie Kottwitz; his daughter Joscelyn Kottwitz; his parents-in-law, Ed and Suzie Parrott; his sisters-in-law, Amanda Strausberg and Laura Bielser (Troy); his nieces and nephews, Madylynn, Braeden Strausberg, Mason and Carter Jones; and his former wife Mary Kottwitz. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
