He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Sutton and Elma F. Sutton (Smith); his son Aaron Wade Sutton; his brother Larry Sutton; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Kauffman and Robert Kroeker.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Kroeker of Hutchinson; his daughters, April Thompson (Nicholas) of Overland Park and Jenni Sutton of Rohnert Park, CA; his granddaughter Savana Sutton of Santa Rosa, CA; his sister Diane Kauffman of Hutchinson; his siblings-in-law, Janice Silbernagel (Greg) of Minnesota and Richard Kroeker (Billie) of Hutchinson; and his pet Kitty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary & Crematory (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (3410 N Plum St, Hutchinson, KS 67502).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Congregational Church, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
