He was predeceased by: his brothers, Carlos "Babbas" Tharp and Marcos "Marky" Burrola-Jaquez; and his great-grandparents, Rosemary and John Brown. He is survived by: his wife Anna "Gabi" Tharp; his daughters, Emalene and Amelia Tharp; his parent Melissa Jaquez (Mark) of Larned; and his grandparents, Patricia "Pat" and Michael "Mike" Tharp of Hutchinson.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Westside Baptist Church (400 W 12th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Haven Baptist Church for the Michael Tharp Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main Hutchinson, KS.
