He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Young and Alta Mae Young (Pitt); and his wife Brenda Young. He is survived by: his sons, Cole Young (Lisa) of Frisco, TX and Troy Young of Turon, KS; his grandchildren, Lily, Cate, Anna and Cinch Young; and his sisters, Tauni Moorman (Bruce) of Overland Park, KS, Teresa Gates of Spring Hill, KS and Janet Teague (Greg) of Hutchinson, KS.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 310 S Main St, South Hutchinson, KS 67505.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
