She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Clark Ward and Doris N. Ward (Marts). She is survived by: her sons, Tom Schmitt (Connie) of Marquette and Bob Schmitt (Sandra) of Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Jennifer Schmitt of Lawrence, Jessica Schmitt (Andrew Noyes) of Overland Park, Braden Schmitt (Sloan) of Overland Park and Dylan Schmitt (Sami) of Lenexa; and her brother Bob Ward (Colleen) of Hutchinson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
