He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pitzer and Carol Pitzer (Birt); his brother Douglas J. Pitzer; and his mother-in-law Peggy Miller. He is survived by: his wife Kim Pitzer; his children, Melissa Strait (Kristopher) and Jason Pitzer (Brooksie); his grandchildren, Blake Strait, Jackson Strait and Samantha Pitzer; his sister Kay Hermes (John); his father-in-law Orvin Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Scott Miller (Susan), Todd Miller (Cindy) and Debra Pitzer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
