He was predeceased by: his parents, A. O. Shelton and Elsie A. Shelton (Cundiff); his brothers, William Wayne and Clyde Junior; and his daughter-in-law Rose Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Shelton of Hutchinson and Julie Edwards (Steve) of Wichita; his grandsons, Tyler Lawrence (Brittany) and Trent Lawrence (Melanie); his great grandchildren, Taylee of Hutchinson, Brydon of Hutchinson, Bryn of Hutchinson, Hazel of Hutchinson and Lily of Hutchinson; and his sibling's children, Tim Shelton, Wanda Kay Shelton and Susan Crain (Lewis).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westside Baptist Church or Central Christian Schools, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
