He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Farney and Viola Farney (Kleck); his wife Lavonne Zimmerman; his son Tyler Farney; his brother James Farney; and his granddaughter Marshay Farney.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Farney (Kay) of Sterling and Gayle Fehr (Rick) of Omaha, NE; his daughter-in-law Keva Farney of North Newton; his grandchildren, Garet Farney (Jaymelynn) of Sterling, Logan Farney (Megan) of Sterling, Chelsi Marshall (Zack) of Eureka, Wyatt Farney (Laurel) of Elbing, Yance Farney (Elaine) of Kechi, Rob Fehr (Abby) of Omaha and Nate Fehr (Laura) of Bentonville, AR; his sisters, Donna Broadus of South Hutchinson and Shirley Marlow of Aurora, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Greta Zimmerman of South Hutchinson and LaVonne Farney of Salina. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
