The family announces the passing of Robert L. Skellenger of Hutchinson, Kansas on June 7, 2026. Robert, born on October 21, 1934, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred May Parrish and George Skellenger of Partridge; his siblings, Elizabeth (Floyd Brubaker), Barbara (Keith Hobbick) and Jerry Skellenger; and his brother-in-law Richard McReynolds.
He is survived by: his sister Edith McReynolds of Castleton; and his sister-in-law Carol Skellenger of Hutchinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
