He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Howard and Alice Mae Tolar; his wife Joan Tolar; his brother Byron Tolar (Julia); his sisters-in-law, Joyce Hesse (Ted) and Jean May (Bob); his nephews, Stephen May and Michael Tolar; and his niece Linda Tolar.
He is survived by: his sons, Dwight Tolar (Mary) of Manhattan, KS and Don Tolar of Cheney, KS; and his grandsons, Alex Tolar of Manhattan, KS, Drew and Reece Tolar of Cheney, KS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
