With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roberta M Avery of Hutchinson, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roberta left this world on December 3, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Totten and Esther Totten (Goff); her sons, Tony Avery and David Avery; and her stepgrandson Josh Borders.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Avery (Denise) and Valerie Avery (Rick Greathouse) of Hutchinson; her brother Charles Goff of Indiana; her daughter-in-law Shree Avery; and her grandchildren, Chris, Catherine, Phillip, Becky and Amy. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (4815 E 4th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
