He was predeceased by: his parents, Menno George and Lavina Louise Schroeder (Prieb). He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Schroeder; his children, Jeremy Schroeder (Lynnette), Julie Paternoster (Tony) and Jamie Deering (Steve); the mother of his children Marietta Schroeder (Robinson); his stepchildren, Michael Boldt (Jennifer) and Christie Moye (Brian); his grandchildren, Katelyn Schroeder, Katy Truan (Eli), Grant Boldt (McKayla) and Allie Smith; his great grandchild Magnolia Truan; and his siblings, Dale Schroeder (Phyllis), Jerry Schroeder, Harold Schroeder (Phyllis), Rodney Schroeder (Linda) and Jolene Snyder (Brad). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (4815 E 4th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Reno County or New Hope Baptist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
