With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon R Rantin (Hutchinson, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Finstad and June Nighswonger-Smith (Nighswonger); her stepfather J. A. Smith; and her brother Leslie Finstad, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Barry Rantin of Hutchinson; her children, Chad Walker of Conway Springs, Natasha Walker (Bethany) of Wichita and Jeremy Blaine of Hutchinson; and her half-brother Cliff Smith (Kathryn) of Conway Springs. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
