He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kemmis and Elizabeth Kemmis (Ferrick); and his siblings, Kenneth, Winton, Merton, Quincy, Eldon, Jane Norton and Mary Domonoske.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Kemmis (Barb) of Mission, KS, Jon Kemmis (Brenda) of Watertown, SD and Debbie Field (Terry) of Hutchinson, KS; and his grandchildren, Nick Kemmis, Eric Kemmis, Jordan Brown (Mark), Jonathan Kemmis (Amber), Jared Kemmis (Stacey), Jason Kemmis, Cory Field and Kelsi Rietcheck (Cody). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
