Sue Algrim Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Algrim (Hutchinson, Kansas), who passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Mae Shann (Richardson) and Clarence Shann; and her sisters, Neva Parker, Shirley Hoelscher, Frances Zimmerman and Betty Lou Shann.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Algrim; her children, Eric Algrim (Lisa) of Fort Madison, IA, Gwen Rundle (Chris) of Hutchinson and Kirk Algrim (Ashley) of Oologah, OK; her grandchildren, Bryce Algrim (Kortney), Blake Algrim, Courtney Rundle, Kylie Rundle, Taylor Strahorn (John) and Zoey Algrim; and her stepgrandchildren, Kali Kern (Kody), Marisa Andrews (Austin), Ryley Basham (Mady) and Ellie Baxter. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Park Place Christian Church or Mennonite Friendship Communities, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
