He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Thomas and Julia Lucy Patterson (Batt); and his siblings, Margaret (Bob Preisser), Luella (Harold Vogel), Bob Patterson, Marvin Patterson, Dorothy (Marv Tully), Donald "Don" (Norma Patterson), Rose "Rita" (Frank Horton), Dale Ricker and Carol Sharp.
He is survived by: his sister Edna Ricker; his nephew Donnie Sharp of Hutchinson; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Patterson of Guymon, OK and Don Sharp of Soddy Daisy, TN. He is also survived by 26 loving nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (1100 Matt Down Ln, Dodge City, KS 67801).
