He was predeceased by: his parents, David D. Fast and Frances E. Fast (Steward); his daughter Valerie Fast; and his brother Stephen Fast. He is survived by: his daughter Monica Hageman (Clinton); his siblings, Karen Sites, Vernon Fast, David Fast (Karen) and Leland Fast; and his grandchildren, Caleb Hageman (Kelsi), Eric Harper (Lindsey), Brooke Gillespie (J. B.), Baye Harter (Josh), Cassandra Dodson (Neil) and Chase Hageman (Abby). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Reno County and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
